Christopher Tom Kee, born and raised in Ottawa
competed in the 2008 Culinary Olympics in Erfurt, Germany. 
Tom Kee's entrée presentation earned him the only Gold medal in his category.

He is a member of Team NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology)
 based in Edmonton where he graduated in culinary studies in 2007. 
He has also landed a one-month stage at the twice-voted 2nd Best restaurant in the world, 
the Fat Duck in Bray (just outside of London, England).  
TEAM NAIT earned a total of five medals (2 golds, 1 silver and 3 bronze).

Tom Kee is spending six months exploring Europe before returning home.
