Legendary Canadian portrait photographer Yousuf Karsh
 was celebrated during Festival Karsh
at the Canada Science and Technology Museum
 June 11, 2009.

Estrellita Karsh, widow of the renowned photographer Yousuf Karsh,
cuts the ribbon to launch the exhibition

The summer-long exhibition "Karsh: Image Maker" marks
 the 100th anniversary of the birth of Yousuf Karsh. 
 Karsh is best known for his photographs
of celebrities and world leaders.

Festival Karsh is a collaboration between
the Canada Science and Technology Museum
and the Portrait Gallery of Canada,
a program of Library and Archives Canada.
