Paul-André Fortier

Montreal dancer Paul-André Fortier
 performed his 30-minute piece
 "Solo 30 x 30" every day
 during the  Canada Dance Festival
Now considered one of Canada’s
 master dancers and choreographers
 Fortier has toured worldwide
 and is the founder of Montreal’s Fortier Danse-Création

I directed "Solitude," a short, experimental dance film
 featuring Paul-Andre Fortier in 1978 -
 choreography by Edouard Locke
 who soon after created "La, La, La Human Steps."
 The film focuses on the nature of the individual in the world
 as he moves from one space to another, shadowed by structures.
